Harms_way, maybe in the future they will have the technology and more powerfull rudders the turn the ship from a giant wave or tsunami

Awesome. Sails can combine as solar panels, now that flexible ultra thin solar cells are being developed. The power from these vast flexible panels can be used to provide electricity to the ship and also provide auxiliary power to the ship's motors, reducing power consumption even further.

I think the olympic class was the best looking ship ever. I mean the round portholes and the lighting on the ship it created a whole different feeling.. its just awesomeness compared to the ugly mammoth oasis of the seas for example..

Me being an expert on Ocean Liners and Cruise Ships, This futuristic design is ugly as sin and it is already 2016 and not one ship of this design has been put out to sea yet and hopefully never will. The catamaran design would make the ship too wide and very difficult to dock at a pier. That is why practically all Ocean Liners & Cruise Ships of the past and present were and are designed with the mono hull design. Sails are not really useful since they to take up too much space on the top deck and would also block the sunlight for passengers who want the sunlight to get a sun tan. Going back to the catamaran design, it is not really needed to keep the ship stabile, That is why stabilizers were invented. Stabilizers are steel fins that come out from the ship's hull below the water line like wings on a plane, to keep the ship steady in choppy seas. The Queen Mary 2 design in my opinion is the best for the present and future of passenger ships.

The wind propulsion part is possible, given that it is used on the Wind Surf, Wind Star, Wind Spirit, Wind Song(scuttled)

I got claustrophobic watching the video, if I wanted to cruise in a steel box I would buy a bank vault and put it on a pontoon.   When I cruise I want the feeling of open space and actually being on the ocean.  I would never cruise on this
