Absolutely depends on what kind of photography you want to do. For street
photography I really enjoyed Sierra Leone and Ghana, for landscapes
Scotland, Iceland and Australia are amongst the best, for architecture it
must be Italy (Tuscany) and Spain for historical stuff or the Netherlands
    and Scandinavia for contemporary architecture.

For a good mix Germany is great. Very nice landscapes (especially Bavaria),
historic castles, villages and Old Towns, modern architecture in Berlin …

Great show as always, I love watching you two, HOWEVER…I was disappointed
by the lack of gratuitous Johnny Butters comments….. :)

  3. ron topp

Love watching every week, but here’s the but…..
The audio is never synced up to the video …….
A minor annoyance in an otherwise great hour of instruction/entertainment

  4. Robert Xavier

@ 3:04 – The way you put that lens down, gave me an idea, to make a Coffee
Mug from a Broken Lens. Then I noticed what you did with it @ 3:34 <:)Where did you get that lens mug?

Hi Tony & Chelsea, I’ve been following your videos and both of you have
been my inspiration. I am from Indonesia but now live in the US. Outside
of those 2 countries, just so that I am not biased, I would say Newhaven,
Copenhagen (I’ve never been to Paris so I can’t nominate that) and
Singapore’s Marina Bay. I am going to Antelope Canyon in 2 weeks. Any
    tips for that? 😀

Hello, Tony! As for the best places for travel photography, I think it has
to do with how we look at the places. If we approach as tourists, we can
study about the places that we’ve thought we’ve known already, but we can
find ourselves finding out whole a lot more. Although I lived in New
England before, I hadn’t noticed Connecticut has a lot of beautiful
    waterfalls. 🙂

  9. anna shalita Eikeland

I hear someone recomended Sweden, but I have to just tell you that Norway
is the place for you guys!! Mountains, fjords ( Hardangerfjord wich is
listed as a top travelspot by national geographics), birds, lovely cities,
…well the list goes on and on, Sweden just cannot beat Norway as far as
    photography goes : ))

Nice video but if it’s no longer live why doesn’t it show the views. only 0
watching. I think a lot of people forget Tony is multi-talented microsoft /
photo guy so he is in the internet guy too. No need for firing 😉 Love this
video and would like to see more of your trip in terms of photos :)

    Hi Tony, Chelsea,
Entertaining and informative video as always.
Glad you enjoyed your european trip.
Suggest you come to Scotland, could also incorporate Iceland as you can
easily fly from Scotland to there.

    Kind Regards

Pointing the camera at the sun will definitely damage your eyes, if you are
using an optical viewfinder, if you do so, use liveview

Tony and Chelsea…Welcome back, enjoyed the show, as usual, but I have to
comment on the kitten picture you thought was cute. I am going to guess
this is a street cat, hopefully third world and/or urban and not someone’s
pet, because it is scrawny and sick. There is an obvious upper respiratory
infection, note the debris in the corners of both eyes. The infection is
chronic, probably a herpes virus, as the paw being used to clean the face
is stained brown…these eyes are uncomfortable and in need of frequent
cleaning. At least the left ear, and maybe the right also although it is
harder to see, is full of brown wax, most likely an ear mite infestation…
also pretty uncomfortable. Not a happy kitten. I am a retired veterinarian
and saw lots of these kittens early in my career when I practiced in an
urban humane society hospital. I did not see too many like this in my own
private practice, but a recent trip to Panama City reminded me this is the
way urban cats often look. This is a good study of a certain type of cat,
but not a portrait of a contented kitten.

Maybe you should try Greece. Cause it is the most amazing place.

  22. ArturoBandiniWannabe

You’re welcome to come to Montenegro. I would be happy to be your host 🙂

Of course, western Europe has very nice architecture. You can never get
bored trying to get some specific detail of the city.

In my country you can forget about that. We do not have anything nice, at
least not man made. However I believe that you would love the nature.
Beautiful contrast of mountains and warm Sea. And one bigggg lake full of
various bird species. And we all now how much you like to go birding 🙂

Hi Tony , slightly off topic, I noticed you mention you used the galaxy s5
on holiday for some shots . How do you find its picture quality ? Would be
good to see some uploads from you sometime maybe quickly comparing s5 shots
to your higher end cameras for photo and video . Thanks and great work as
    always .

  24. Pádraig Floyd

    Connemara or Shetland.

  25. MartinGod3992

If you guys are always having problems space wise, i would suggest that you
invest into a NAS (network attached storage) you can get some which support
upto like 30 or 40TB, not only space though cause its networked all your
computers and devices would be able to access them they are really cool,
    very reliable storage

Okinawa & the surrounding Ryuku Islands have some incredible beaches and
plenty of cityscapes / street photo opportunities.

I just got back from Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park which had some nice
    landscapes as well.
